This project was completed as part of the CareerFoundry Data Analytics Program. It focuses on exploratory data analysis of the fictional Rockbuster Stealth LLC movie rental database. Using SQL, I analyzed customer behaviors, rental patterns, and revenue streams to generate actionable insights that could guide business strategy and decision-making.
Rockbuster Stealth LLC, historically known for its wide network of physical rental stores, is transitioning into the digital era with the launch of an online video rental platform. To stay competitive with established streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, Rockbuster aims to leverage its existing film licenses and customer base to establish a strong online presence.
The primary goal of this project is to inform Rockbuster’s streaming strategy through data-driven insights. By identifying regional customer trends, rental preferences, and revenue drivers, the analysis supports targeted marketing campaigns and strategic decision-making for the company’s digital expansion.
